How to Adjust JavaScript Settings
Online students and faculty may find that when logging into their courses, the SUNY Online Support Browser Compatibility area alerts them to adjust their JavaScript settings in Blackboard. This must be done to allow various features of the learning management system to function correctly. The following browser-specific directions will illustrate how to adjust these settings.
NOTE: Support for IE has been phased out. It is no longer supported by Microsoft. Furthermore, Bb support Versions 9 and 10 ended on April 5th, 2019.

By default, the option to disable JavaScript has been removed from Firefox. However, JavaScript can be blocked by using an add-on or by using the about:config web page. If you are experiencing any JavaScript issues in Firefox, be sure that no add-ons are installed that may block Javascript.
