When logging into an online course in Blackboard, users may be alerted to one or more issues with their current browser that may affect their use of the system.
How to Check Browser Compatibility
When you log into Blackboard, you will see the ‘Open SUNY/SUNY Online Browser Compatibility’ area. Make sure you have all green checks in each area to ensure browser compatibility in Blackboard.
What if I have a Red ‘X’?
If you see a red ‘X’ in any area, click on the ‘adjust your browser settings’ link to resolve the issue. After you complete the steps, close the browser window and log back into Blackboard to make sure you have green checkmarks.
